Nano Enhanced Wholesale Technologies, LLC (NEW Techs) offers Nano Graphene Platelets (NGP), Carbon Nano Tubes (CNT) , Carbon Nano Fibers (CNF), all of which are carbon-based nanomaterials and share similar property performances.
However, not all carbon-based nanomaterials are the same. First, our mission is to offer our customers the lowest cost and highest performance carbon-based nanomaterials.
Thus, we have selected suppliers that can consistently produce >99.98% pure carbon-based nanomaterials (containing no metals or other impurities, unlike CVD processed CNTs) with yields approaching 100% (only one form of graphene/carbon, unlike CVD processed CNTs). Furthermore, for our customers requiring nanomaterials of the highest performance, our suppliers can produce pristine carbon-based nanomaterials (no oxides or imperfections). We recognize that it is relatively difficult to achieve matrix loadings greater than 10% with CNTs or CNFs. However, NEW Techs overcomes this by blending CNTs or CNFs with NGP to reduce entanglements that lead to agglomerations and high viscosity, therefore achieving much lower viscosity matrix solutions to promote ease of processing. Also, blending allows for much higher nanomaterials loadings than could be achieved by CNTs or CNFs alone and therefore much higher nanomaterial properties than could otherwise be achieved. And, to ensure optimum nanomaterial performance for our most demanding customer applications, NEW Techs has established collaborative agreements between our nanomaterial suppliers to offer optimum blends of these nanomaterials.
Since these nanomaterials share very similar properties, but are produced with different costs and processing parameters, we are able to optimize the cost vs. performance benefits crucial to our customer's success.
